One of fourteen illustrations for Oswin Craton’s book, Orthodox Saints of Wales (2025, Ancient Faith Publishing). This drawing depicts St Elen Luyddog, empress and wife of 4th century emperor Magnus Maximus, she is credited with introducing the Celtic form of monasticism to Wales.

The drawing was done with dip pens using japanese Sumi ink on Bristol paper.

This drawing comes mounted and framed as pictured, the frame is about 12 × 15” and uses real glass.
